Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an experienced Superintendent to plan, manage and execute projects with emphasis on safety, quality and profit. You will coordinate subcontractors, staff and field operations, aligning with project managers and owners to deliver on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on Lean processes and efficient field execution. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience; 3+ years field supervision experience; Lean principles experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and the overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manages project site care, custody and control and coordinates meetings.
• Creates and manages project schedules with the Project Manager; tracks budgets and costs.
