Job summary

DeWolff, Boberg & Associates is seeking a Management Consultant to drive transformational change. The role focuses on executing client goals through frontline coaching and partnering with frontline staff daily to shift management behaviors.

You will analyze resource utilization, foster strong client relationships, and deliver metrics to all levels of management. This is a highly immersive, travel-intensive position designed to build long-lasting performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years direct supervision and management experience (Production & Manufacturing industries preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, build consensus, and facilitate problem-solving and collaboration amongst cross functional teams.
• Ability to balance delivery of results, problem solving, and client management.
• Develop a high level of personal and professional credibility with all levels of the organization and external clients.
• Strong observation, analytical, numerical reasoning, business acumen, and leadership skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high pressure, and changing environments.
• Exceptional communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment and deliver/receive daily constructive feedback.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s goals, objectives, and processes through frontline coaching.
• Work side by side with the frontline on a daily basis to change management behaviors.
• Understand client resource utilization to identify operational and performance improvement opportunities.
• Build and foster client communication and relationships.
• Address and confront issues and provide appropriate feedback.
• Hold and increase frontline accountability of actions, roles and responsibilities.
• Assist in the development of frontline supervisors becoming proactive vs. reactive in management style.
• Increase employee engagement and facilitate workshops.
• Understand and deliver appropriate metrics and data to all levels of management.
• Unlock ideas for improvement.
• Implement a proven management operating system.
• Give frontline supervisors and their employees a voice.
• Remove barriers and create support from middle and senior management.
• Change cultures for long lasting results.
