Job summary

DeWolff, Boberg & Associates (DB&A) is seeking a Management Consultant, Operations Leadership to embed on-site with major clients, coaching frontline teams to improve leadership and performance on the shop floor.

This full-time role requires US-based availability near a major airport and readiness for 100% travel Sunday through Friday; candidates should have 3–5 years of frontline leadership experience and a completed bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Current or recent leadership of a frontline team in manufacturing or similar physical operating environment.
• 3–5 years of direct people leadership focusing on performance, coaching, accountability and KPIs.
• 7 years or less of total professional experience since completing your bachelor's degree.
• A completed bachelor's degree.
• A path into management earned through promotion from a Supervisor role or a formal management trainee program.
• Based in the U.S., near a major airport, and ready for 100% travel Sunday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Embed on-site with major companies, in industries you have never worked in before.
• Coach frontline supervisors and managers, one on one and in workshops, until they lead their teams better.
• Read KPIs, lost time, and productivity data, and turn it into a plan for tomorrow.
• Build the kind of trust on a shop floor that gets people to actually change how they lead.
