Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead field crews in cooling tower construction and repair across project sites. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, enforce safety, and coordinate activities with the Superintendent to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Expect extensive travel to various project locations. Candidates should have 5+ years in field cooling tower work and at least 1 year in a Foreman role, with OSHA training and a valid U.S. driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field cooling tower construction experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Foreman in cooling tower construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety training and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, compliance with OBR policies, and fair application of procedures at the worksite.
• Oversee training, productivity, and performance of crews erecting and repairing cooling towers.
• Lead cooling tower technicians to ensure tasks assigned by the Superintendent are executed safely, efficiently, on time, and to OBR quality standards.
• Occasionally manage inspections or small projects independently in the absence of Superintendents and oversee field subcontractors.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine materials and dimensions.
• Lead daily and weekly safety meetings; complete incident reports as required.
• Align mechanical equipment, perform piping, and assist with framework erection and material installation.
• Perform work at heights while maintaining 100% tie-off when above 4 feet.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
