Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers seeks a Foreman to lead and support the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising field construction and repair of cooling towers. Extensive travel is required depending on project location.

You will ensure safety, oversee crew performance, and drive timely, quality work while adhering to company procedures and OSHA standards. Experience in cooling-tower construction and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years field cooling tower construction experience required.
• 1 year foreman experience in cooling tower construction required.
• Knowledge of Windows-based applications helpful.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, compliance with company policies, and fair application of procedures at the worksite.
• Oversee training, productivity, and performance of crews erecting and repairing cooling towers.
• Lead cooling tower technicians to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Occasionally manage inspections or small projects in the absence of Superintendents and oversee field subcontractors.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine materials and dimensions.
• Lead daily and weekly safety meetings; complete incident reports as required.
• Align mechanical equipment, perform piping, and assist with framework erection and material installation.
• Perform work at heights with 100% tie-off above 4 feet.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
