Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards and delivering safe, high-quality service to enhance guest experience.

You will conduct audits, observe food prep, train staff, and lead corrective actions while traveling 50-70% (8-10 days per month), including some evenings and weekends to fit client needs. Must have CP-FS or ServSafe certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• CP-FS certification required or strongly preferred.
• ServSafe and CP-FS certifications are a plus.
• Must have excellent listening, organization, communication and time management skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
• Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections to measure conformity to regulatory and brand standards.
• Observe food prep to ensure safety and sanitation practices.
• Train and educate staff on food safety and brand standards.
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation and records.
• Influence others with tact and provide clear feedback.
• Work autonomously with a flexible schedule.
