Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level UAM Field Technician 1 to plan, inspect, and capture data for utility infrastructure. The role advances skills under supervision and involves field work in various terrains.

Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, housing and per diem details provided. The position requires travel and on-site work with significant field activity.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to learn mapping collection software applications.
• Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Effectively communicate one-on-one and in groups.
• Perform basic arithmetic computations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR; must pass Davey Driver’s Safety Course.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a lone worker when required, demonstrating independence.
• Operate as part of a pair when required, coordinating schedules and locations.
• Fulfill weekly production targets to meet client expectations.
• Perform field audits of utility infrastructure by inspecting and recording data.
• Use GPS, maps, and hand-held tech to navigate and document observations.
• Travel to on-site locations and drive company vehicles as needed.
• Maintain safety and report hazards per standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians.
