Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level UAM Field Technician 1 in Hattiesburg, MS to assist with planning, inspecting, and documenting utility assets. You will work in the field using GPS, map data and field tools under supervision, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in basic office apps and data entry is required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate clearly.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations and follow multi-variable instructions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass Davey Driver’s Safety Course.

Responsibilities

• Operate solo when needed and coordinate with a partner when required.
• Meet weekly production targets and client timelines.
• Perform field audits of utility infrastructure and record observations.
• Use GPS, cameras and field devices to collect data accurately.
• Navigate terrains using maps, GPS or other tools in all weather conditions.
• Travel 75–100% for on-site duties and maintain vehicle/equipment.
