Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level UAM Field Technician 1 to plan, design, and verify locations for utility infrastructure. You’ll work in the field, collect data, and support clients by ensuring asset information is accurate and accessible.

The role requires willingness to travel 75–100% and to learn mapping software while performing field audits with GPS and other tools in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic office applications and data entry; willingness to learn mapping collection software.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; communicate clearly one-on-one and in groups.
• Perform basic arithmetic and apply instructions to varied situations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; must pass Davey Driver’s Safety Course.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a lone worker or part of a pair as required.
• Meet weekly production targets and client timelines.
• Perform field audits of utility infrastructure; record information.
• Use GPS, hand-held devices, and cameras to collect data.
• Navigate terrain using maps, GPS, or other methods.
