Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level UAM Field Technician 1 in San Antonio, TX, on-site. You will plan, inspect, and capture data on utility infrastructure under supervision, with increasing skill development. Travel 75-100% and robust safety practices are required.

Starting wage $20–$24 per hour plus overtime, housing stipend, and per diem when traveling. Hotel coverage and relocation support may apply; effective communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn mapping collection software applications.
• Read, comprehend, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and able to attend Safety Course.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a lone worker when required with independence.
• Fulfill weekly production targets for client timelines.
• Perform field audits by visually inspecting utility infrastructure.
• Record field observations accurately using field tech devices.
• Navigate maps and GPS for on-site access and safety.
• Travel 75%-100% for on-site duties.
