Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support at CVS Pharmacy locations, traveling between stores to maintain computer systems and store technology. You will support POS, pharmacy systems, networking equipment, and other in-store tech, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with remote teams to restore service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Willingness to travel between CVS locations within Melrose, MA.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform ladder work.
• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support at CVS Pharmacy locations.
• Maintain POS, pharmacy, and in-store systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and hardware upgrades.
• Install and configure POS terminals and network connectivity.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues and root causes.
• Document service calls and installations accurately.
• Collaborate with help desk, network engineers, and software teams.
• Provide customer service to store colleagues.
• Manage IT parts inventory and order as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations for urgent needs.
