Job summary

Veit is seeking a Superintendent to manage daily field operations on heavy civil construction projects. You will lead on-site crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and schedule targets.

The role requires strong communication with project managers and clients, plus adherence to company policies and OSHA standards. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of related experience and relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related field experience or equivalent combination.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred, HAZWOPER and safety training typical for field supervision.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, reports, construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations on heavy civil projects.
• Lead on-site crews and subcontractors, coordinate resources and schedules.
