Job summary

Veit & Co seeks an on-site Superintendent/Foreman to oversee daily Earthwork operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will manage lead personnel and crews, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain project records, while enforcing company safety policies and training.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of related experience, OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER, blueprint and safety training, and strong communication and scheduling abilities for a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, reports, construction plans, and specs.
• Strong communication and scheduling skills; ability to coordinate field needs.
• Ability to manage time, personnel, and safety programs on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily site operations for Earthwork projects and ensures safety and quality.
• Schedules subcontractors and monitors on-site workforce and equipment.
• Maintains daily logs, reports, and job records; conducts safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Provides leadership and supervises field personnel, mentoring and evaluating performance.
• Participates in pre-construction meetings and regular site meetings throughout the project.
