Rodney Hunt Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service water control gates and valves, including manual, electric, and hydraulic actuators.

The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in field service or related technical support, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AAO/technical cert is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair water control gates and valves and their operating systems at client locations.
• Conduct system testing, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest solutions.
• Coordinate with project management to meet timelines and customer expectations.
• Assist manufacturing/production teams to understand product specs and aid in quality assurance.
• Develop and modify training materials and OMs for specific equipment.
• Provide training and technical support to customers on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Document service visits and follow-ups in service reports.
• Maintain safety protocols and professionalism on-site.
• Manage service tools and equipment inventory.
