Job summary

Haynes Equipment Company seeks a Field Service Technician to place new equipment into operation and diagnose/repair equipment issues. You will travel within the assigned territory, coordinate with the Field Service Manager, and support customers through installation, commissioning, and service teams.

The role requires mechanical/electrical repair skills, relay logic, motor controls, calibration of instrumentation, and strong communication to ensure service quality and safety in the field.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or trade school in mechanical/electronic repair or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided; prior experience not required.
• Experience with relay logic and motor controls.
• Experience using a volt meter for mA measurement and generation.
• Experience using an Amp Clamp.
• Experience calibrating process instruments.

Responsibilities

• Report status of each service trip to Field Service Manager.
• Meet weekly with Field Service Manager.
• Verify service time with client or notify changes.
• Obtain signed service reports from customers.
• Advise customers to schedule service via Office Service/Manager.
• Obtain daily dispatches from Field Service Manager.
• Limit office time to required meetings and tasks.
• Support company mission, policies and confidentiality.
• Daily travel in assigned territory.
• Perform other duties as required by Field Service Manager.
