Job summary

L&S Electric in Wisconsin is seeking a field technician to perform disassembly/assembly of pumps, motors, and generators. This role involves on-site maintenance, travel to various customer sites, and collaboration with experienced staff to ensure safe, reliable power equipment operation.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical mindset, can lift 50 lbs, and are comfortable with overtime and using hand tools and electrical test gear. CDL B is a plus; fluent English required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Willing to travel up to 5 days per week; overtime as needed.
• Must provide basic hand tools; CDL B preferred.
• Experience with electromechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble pumps, motors and generators.
• Motor, pump, and generator removals and installations.
• Preventive and break down maintenance including bearing and winding work.
• Use of test equipment such as surge testers, megger, multimeters.
• Rigging and machinery moving; lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to safety procedures and work with on-site teams.
