Job summary

L & S Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled field service mechanic to join our team. You will disassemble and assemble pumps, motors and generators, and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on rotating equipment across customer sites.

Travel up to 5 days per week, with overtime as required. You must lift up to 50 pounds, use hand and power tools, and adhere to safety procedures. Company provides paid hotel/meals and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude and basic hand tools.
• Willing to travel up to 5 days a week and overnight as needed.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble pumps, motors and generators.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on rotating equipment.
• Rigging and machinery moving; equipment removals/installs.
• Use test equipment and precision measuring tools.
• Interact with customers and work with safety procedures.
