Job summary

L & S Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled electro-mechanical technician with strong millwright experience to join our field service team.

The role involves disassembly and reassembly of pumps, motors and generators, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and complex alignment and testing at customer sites across the WI, MN, MI IL area. Travel up to five days a week with occasional overnight stays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Willing to travel up to 5 days a week and overnight as needed.
• Provide own basic hand tools; company to provide all others.
• CDL B endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble pumps, motors and generators.
• Motor and generator preventive and breakdown maintenance including bearing replacement and winding tests.
• Perform precision alignment and equipment testing with appropriate tools.
• Rigging and machinery moving; base modifications and repair.
• Interact with customers on a regular basis.
• Understand and follow safety procedures; work with on-the-job training as needed.
