Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting a Field Service Engineer in Meridian, Idaho. This field-based role involves 75% travel to support customers and complex diagnostics to restore equipment performance.

You will read P&IDs, schematics, and drawings to diagnose issues and lead startup, commissioning, and qualification of automated wet bench systems to meet SEMI standards. Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering/related field or Bachelor's in Engineering or related scientific field, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment and automated systems, including PLC-based controls.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings to diagnose issues.
• Hands-on wiring, soldering, and assembling electrical components with proper labeling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex system failures using advanced diagnostic techniques to restore equipment performance.
• Interpret technical specifications and drawings to diagnose non-routine problems.
• Develop innovative solutions for equipment modifications and process improvements.
• Lead startup, commissioning, and qualification of automated wet bench systems.
• Serve as primary technical consultant to customers on upgrades and optimizations.
• Document outcomes and engineering changes after customer engagements.
