Job summary

McLanahan Corporation seeks a field service engineer to travel to customer sites for design, installation, commissioning and operation of McLanahan systems and equipment.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, train customers and dealers, review drawings with CAD, and support startup activities. Extensive travel is required both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic concepts.
• Knowledge of production practices/procedures.
• Computer literacy including MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical service and field commissioning of equipment.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
• Represent McLanahan Corporation in a professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers, management and colleagues.
• Assist in design reviews and CAD-related edits as needed.
• Prepare detailed trip reports and use ERP system for data entry.
