Job summary

Marlen International Inc. seeks an energetic Field Service Technician to join our Lifecycle Services Team. You will conduct field service calls at customer sites for installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of complex food processing equipment, including PLCs and servo drives.

This role requires mechanical and electrical expertise, a strong problem-solving mindset, and willingness to travel up to 80–90%, with some overnight stays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background required.
• Experience programming PLCs is essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 80–90% and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and preventative maintenance at customer sites.
• Commission and troubleshoot PLC and servo drive configurations.
• Dismantle machines for refurbishment or relocation and conduct tests.
• Provide upgrades and on-site/remote technical support and training.
