Job summary

HireNow Staffing is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and train customers on industrial equipment across the United States and Canada. The role requires strong electromechanical expertise, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel extensively.

Onboarding/training will occur in Smyrna, Georgia, with travel up to 60–80% and a clear path toward senior roles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent field service experience considered.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills with industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical failures independently.
• Experience servicing industrial machinery, automation systems, or capital equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across the United States and Canada.
• Onboarding and training at Smyrna, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively to support customer installations and service requirements across the US and Canada.
• Install, commission, and verify operational readiness of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
• Conduct corrective maintenance and emergency service repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment startups, customer acceptance testing, and production validation.
• Document service activities, findings, and repair recommendations.
• Build relationships with customer maintenance teams and production personnel.
• Participate in machine testing, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safety and professionalism while representing the organization in the field.
