Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. seeks a travel-loving field engineer to support data center and automation projects across North America. No fixed office; you’ll visit customer sites and coordinate across teams.

After a four-week paid training, you’ll lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing with system integrators, while traveling on rotations. Competitive salary, per diem, and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in related field (electrical, mechanical, automation) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Technical degree or documented hands-on experience required; strong problem-solving ability essential.
• Willingness to travel across North America and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site electrical, mechanical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to keep progress on track.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off schedules.
