Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers for a travel-focused field role across North America. You will participate in four weeks of paid training to prepare for field work in electrical systems, programming, and networking.

Expect rotations that keep you on the road, testing, starting up, and validating automation projects with customers. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, plus per diem, mileage reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support field service startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams.
• Navigate travel rotations on a schedule (e.g., 5 on–2 off, 10 on–4 off, or 14 on–7 off).
• Engage with customers across North America to ensure successful deployments.
