Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. seeks a travel-enabled engineer to support data center startups and on-site checks across North America. You will lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems, partnering with automation engineers and customers, with rotations like 5 on-2 off or 14 on-7 off.

Expect to travel and work away from home, with comprehensive training and a clear growth path in field engineering.

Qualifications

Must be willing to travel across North America.
Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking.
3+ years hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical/automation engineering.

Responsibilities

Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
Partner with automation and controls engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams.
Travel rotations follow a 5-on/2-off, 10-on/4-off, or 14-on/7-off schedule.
