Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking adaptable individuals for a travel-heavy field position across North America. Expect hands-on work, cross-functional collaboration, and on-site verification of automation systems.

Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, with per diem, mileage reimbursement, and performance-based raises. A four-week paid training ensures you’re prepared for the field.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical/automation engineering.
• Willingness to travel across North America for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within 50 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams on progress.
• Navigate travel rotations (e.g., 5 on 2 off, 10 on 4 off, 14 on 7 off) across locations.
