Job summary

Komatsu US dealer network is seeking a National Field Service Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on surface mining equipment across the United States. This role involves substantial travel to client sites and requires independent work within a collaborative Field Service team.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a journeyman certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeymade trade/technical certification in electrical systems, welding or mechanical, or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex field systems.
• Install and configure electrical components and systems per standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Document service work and maintain accurate reports on job status.
