Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect, accept or reject work to meet codes and specs, with a preferred focus on mechanical or piping disciplines. Travel to project sites is required, with per diem provided for eligible travel assignments.

The role emphasizes safety, ethical conduct, and rigorous quality controls, including inspection reports and corrective actions. Familiarity with ASME and API standards is preferred; strong communication and MS Office skills are

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ minimum experience in a specific craft or working under a formal Quality Management System.
• 3 years' mechanical and/or piping experience preferred.
• ACI certification preferred; AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, NACE may be considered.
• Familiarity with ASME Sec. VIII, Sec. IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 650/653, 1104 Codes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; good computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
