Job summary

Apache Workforce LLC seeks an experienced Quality Control Inspector in Houston, TX to perform quality inspections of welding, piping fabrication, and fabricated structures, including visual, dimensional, and testing verification. The role covers field inspections as required and requires ability to read engineering drawings and codes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in QA/QC, familiarity with ISO 9000 or similar systems, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in Applied Science is a plus.
• Certified Quality Inspector certification required within one year of employment.
• CWI or ACWI certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specs.
• Experience with ISO 9000 or similar quality management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of welded parts, piping, structural components, and assemblies per design requirements.
• Interpret drawings, procedures, work instructions, and specs to determine acceptance.
• Carry out dimensional inspections per design documents.
• Conduct inspections at manufacturing facilities and at supplier or customer locations as needed.
• Document testing and results; prepare NCRs when applicable.
