Job summary

Matrix Project Services in Republic, WA, USA seeks an QA/QC Electrical Inspector to inspect, accept or reject electrical work in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements. You will review procedures, perform quality audits, witness ITPs, monitor installations, and report non-conformities with corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a craft or QMS environment and strong electrical experience, plus familiarity with ASME/API codes and MS Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' minimum experience in a specific craft or working under a formal Quality Management System.
• 3 years' electrical experience preferred.
• ACI certification preferred and other discipline specific inspection process may be considered.
• Should be familiar with ASME Sec. VIII, Sec. IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 650/653, 1104 Codes.
• Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices and standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; MS Word and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept or reject work in the electrical discipline per codes and specs.
• Review project specs and procedures to ensure compliance with Client requirements.
• Perform quality audits and verify activities against the Project Quality Plan.
• Witness and document ITPs, pre-commissioning activities and installations.
• Report non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Daily surveillance reporting and weekly progress updates.
