Job summary

Aerones seeks an Aera Crew Manager to ensure operational excellence across US field operations, driving crew readiness, safety, and performance on wind-energy projects. You will link Headquarters with rotating field teams, ensuring crews are prepared before deployment and consistently meet Aerones standards.

During peak season you’ll supervise workforce coordination, reporting, logistics, and field metrics, while coaching Team Leads and technicians.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in field operations, field service, construction, renewable energy, industrial services, or similar field-based environment.
Experience leading, coordinating, or supporting field-based teams.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with Team Leads, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple crews, projects, schedules, and changing operational priorities.
Ability to coach employees, provide constructive feedback, address performance concerns, and hold teams accountable.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-moving field environments.
High attention to detail with the ability to review operational reports, technician hours, expenses, project progress, and other field documentation for accuracy.
Comfortable using operational software, reporting systems, and digital tools to manage field activities.
Understanding of workplace safety expectations and the ability to reinforce company HSE procedures and safe working practices.
Ability to work effectively across Operations, Project Management, HSE, Logistics, HR, Technical Support, and other departments.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States to support field crews and active projects.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
Flexibility to support field operations outside normal business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

Oversee field crews and ensure safety, quality, and compliance across projects.
Coordinate workforce, reporting, logistics, and field performance metrics.
Coach Team Leads and technicians to improve proficiency and outcomes.
Travel across the United States to support active projects and deployments, up to 60%.
Support training, certification management, documentation updates, and process improvements during slower periods.
