Terracon is seeking a Traveling Construction Materials Technician to join our nationwide team. You will perform field testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials on high-profile projects across Texas and beyond.

You’ll travel 100% of the time, communicate findings to project managers, document results, and maintain equipment while following strict safety standards. This role suits self-motivated travelers who thrive in dynamic field environments.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant field experience or training.
• Experience with laptop use and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel).
• Communicate with project managers and client representatives regarding requirements and results.
• Transport samples to the laboratory and prepare data and reports for daily transmission.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, and assist with dispatch of technicians.
• Adhere to strict safety standards and maintain quality on all projects.
