Job summary

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking a Traveling Field IT Technician to handle onboardings, network documentation, toolset deployment and network assessments across multiple customer sites. You will travel up to 50% including overnight to perform installation and maintenance of firewalls, switches, access points, phone systems and KeyTrak equipment.

You will also manage inventory and documentation in our service tracking system, while collaborating with teams across territories.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred
• Seasoned with Ticketing Systems, Local Exchange, and Email/Server Migrations
• Strong sense of Firewall Configurations, Cisco, and Networking
• Accustomed to Imaging and VMware Virtualization
• Knowledgeable on Cabling and Telco Circuits
• Educated on VoIP, VLANs, DNS, BSOD, and GPO’s
• Direct experience with Microsoft 365, GSuite, Active Directory, and Azure AD
• Ability to travel to project sites on a regular basis. Up to 50% overnight travel
• Experience updating project and technical documentation
• Must be able to attend a paid training class in Texas

• Travel 50% of the time, overnight, to existing and new customer sites to handle onboardings, perform network documentation, toolset deployment and network assessments
• Install or maintain firewalls, switches, access points and phone systems as part of duties
• Cover various territories and perform maintenance support on computer equipment, printers and specialized KeyTrak equipment
• Maintain an inventory or repair parts and document through our service tracking system
