Job summary

Nextlink is seeking a Traveling Field Installation Technician to install and service internet equipment at customer sites across multiple states. This role involves two weeks out of market and two weeks in home market, with extensive travel and outdoor work.

You will climb towers, perform site surveys, configure routers and devices, and troubleshoot service issues while maintaining safety protocols. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver's license and tower

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to travel and work in outdoor environments.
• Pass tower certification and drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across multiple states.
• Install and service Internet equipment at customer locations.
• Configure routers and customer devices for service access.
• Perform site surveys and assess serviceability.
• Troubleshoot and restore customer connectivity.
• Follow safety procedures on towers and with equipment.
