Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Garage Mechanic to work at multiple sites, with potential travel to another state based on customer needs. You will repair and maintain equipment ranging from cranes to chainsaws, both in the shop and in the field.

The role requires physical strength, 1-5 years of experience, a CDL or ability to obtain one, and owning your own tools. You will use diagnostics and inventory systems, handle work orders, and adhere to safety rules on all projects.

Qualifications

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
• Requires 1-5 years of experience.
• Must have or able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Must have own general tools.
• Must learn or perform work in hydraulics, diesel/gas engine, chassis and suspension, welding/metal fabrication, small tool repair.
• Must know or learn to use a computer for Diagnostics, Inventory management, Work Orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of equipment in cities and states within region.
• Troubleshoot equipment repair, maintenance and deployment in various localities.
• Work safely in garage and field under varied weather conditions.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good order.
• Willing to travel to other states as needed and work overtime or weekends when required.
