Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer (Structural & Architectural) to provide technical engineering information to project managers, craft supervisors, and managers to ensure design development and construction meet engineering standards. The role includes project controls support and subcontract oversight for nationwide travel across the US.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline and 1–2 years of structural/architectural and construction

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in structural and architectural disciplines.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in construction is required.
  • Knowledge of codes that apply to infrastructure construction.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, Document Control Systems).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Understand technical drawings and specifications for the structural and architectural scope of construction.
  • Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material; prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings as required.
  • Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process plant systems.
  • Understand detailed project schedules including predecessors and successors to each activity.
  • Manage QA/QC duties and ensure adherence to standards and the Lemartec Field Engineering Handbook.
  • Support Project Controls with cost, scheduling, and estimating/re-estimating.
