Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer (Structural & Architectural) to provide technical engineering information to the Project Manager, Craft Supervisors and corporate managers to ensure design development and construction work complies with engineering standards. This is a traveling role across the US, up to 100% of the time, with potential project sites nationwide.

Per diem, a vehicle allowance, and relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in structural and architectural disciplines.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical drawings and specifications for the structural and architectural scope.
• Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material; prepare field design changes and as-built drawings.
• Comprehend subcontract language, scope, terms and technical requirements.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process plant systems.
• Understand detailed project schedules and sequencing of activities.
• Support the Construction Manager in analyzing and reporting daily progress of subcontractors.
• Coordinate craft production and release work to meet subcontract and project schedules.
• Facilitate design modifications and interpret drawings for subcontractors.
• Provide support to Project Controls in cost, scheduling and estimating.
