Job summary

Lemartec Corporation seeks a Project Engineer (Structural & Architectural) to provide technical engineering guidance to project teams across multiple disciplines. The role includes project controls support, subcontract oversight, and coordination of field changes and documentation.

The position involves extensive travel across the United States, with potential per diem, vehicle allowance, and relocation assistance. A BS in engineering and 1–2 years in construction are required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of design and engineering for large scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction activities including architecture, structural, material, equipment, cost and time requirements.
• Technical engineering and computing knowledge; familiarity with relevant codes.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team on EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical drawings and specifications for the structural and architectural scope of construction.
• Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material; prepare field design change requisitions and as-builts.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and processing systems.
• Manage and coordinate materials and labor resources; monitor subcontractor progress.
• Support Project Controls with cost, scheduling and estimating/re-estimating.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation, punch lists, and engineering sketches as required.
