Job summary
Lemartec Corporation seeks a Project Engineer (Structural & Architectural) to provide technical engineering information to Project Manager and site teams, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and support project controls and subcontract oversight while traveling across the U.S. The role includes per diem eligibility, a potential vehicle allowance, and relocation assistance. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
1–2 years of relevant experience in structural and architectural disciplines.
Minimum 1–2 years of construction experience.
Responsibilities
Understand technical drawings and specifications for the structural and architectural scope of construction.
Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material; prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings.
Comprehend subcontract language, scope, terms and technical requirements.
Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process plant systems.
Understand detailed project schedules including prerequisites and successors.
Perform QA/QC duties per the Lemartec Field Engineering Handbook.
Communicate effectively in writing and speaking on technical topics.
Coordinate material and human resources; support project controls and reporting.
Support subcontractors to adhere to schedule and contract terms.
Assist in design modifications and interpretation of drawings for subcontractors.
Prepare project records such as QA/QC reports, punch lists, and material calculations.
