Job summary

Lemartec, a MasTec company, seeks a Project Engineer (Structural & Architectural) for a travel-intensive role across the US. You will provide technical information to managers and crafts, support cost/scheduling/estimating, and oversee subcontractor activities on diverse infrastructure projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in engineering and 1–2 years in structural/architectural fields, with knowledge of codes and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in structural and architectural disciplines.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience working in construction is required.
• Understanding of design and engineering of large scale construction projects across all engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of codes that apply to infrastructure construction.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical drawings and specifications for the structural and architectural scope of construction.
• Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material; prepare field design change requisitions and as-built drawings.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process plant systems.
• Understand project schedules and QA/QC requirements; perform QA/QC duties as required.
• Coordinate craft production, and release work to meet subcontract and project schedules.
• Provide support to Project Controls in cost, scheduling, and estimating.
• Prepare and disseminate documentation records, QA/QC reports, punch lists, and material calculations.
