JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Traveling Field Engineer 2 to support routine construction activities and supervise a crew as a working foreman. The initial assignment is in Essex Junction, VT, with safety culture and Lean practices emphasized throughout the role.

You will learn company standards, coordinate with foremen and subcontractors, and contribute to cost control and quality assurance on large Industrial & Manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• Participation in federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Support construction activities for routine projects and supervise a crew when needed.
• Participate in safety plans, daily task planning and look ahead schedules.
• Monitor crew size, self-perform packaging and coordinate with contractors.
• Engage in planning meetings and Lean construction practices.
