Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Traveling Field Engineer 2, Advanced Industries, focused on semiconductor projects. The travel role centers in Essex Junction, VT, with assignments nationwide, supporting safety culture and lean construction practices.

Base compensation ranges from $84,000 to $104,000 annually, plus a target bonus; equal opportunity employer with accommodations available. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 2+ years of construction experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes and reports self-perform work.
• Pre-plans crew activities, fulfills daily task plan, completes look ahead schedule and updates supervisor.
• Participates in creating and implementing project safety plans and ensures compliance.
• Helps control costs by improving processes.
• Ensures quality through project QA/QC activities.
• Works on site with the superintendent to assist with tasks such as monitoring crew size and coordinating with contractors.
• Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews and documentation.
