Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex Company, seeks a Foreman to lead a crew on fiber optic projects across multiple sites. You will supervise 2-3 crew members, ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion while performing advanced fusion splicing and testing.

Travel is required; you will coordinate with Project Managers, interpret customer prints, and document progress with photos. This role demands strong communication, hands-on leadership, and expertise with Fujikura fusion

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications with construction/tower experience.
• 2-3 years splicing/testing fiber for dark fiber providers.
• 3+ years using Fujikura fusion splicing machines for high-count fiber (864ct/1728ct/3456ct).
• 3+ years OTDR/OLTS testing with EXFO equipment.
• 2+ years producing Fast Reporter network documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 crew members, manage safety, schedule, and cost per standards.
• Interpret customer prints to plan tasks and sequencing.
• Perform mid-sheath and live splicing with minimal disruption.
• Conduct OTDR/OLTS testing and document results with photos.
• Maintain equipment and assist with installation in various environments.
• Coordinate with Project Manager as liaison and produce progress reports.
