Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee federal projects across the country, coordinating day-to-day operations and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards. This role requires frequent travel and relocation as needed.

Based in Jacksonville, FL, you will collaborate with PMs, engineers and subcontractors, implement strict safety protocols, and report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Superintendent or similar role on federal projects.
• Experience with SCIF, Federal, Mission Critical, DOD work.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to travel extensively and relocate.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all construction activities related to federal projects from inception to completion.
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction specialists.
• Implementing and maintaining strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specs and federal regulations.
• Identifying potential challenges and proactively proposing and implementing solutions.
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors and onsite personnel.
• Preparing and submitting regular project reports to senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
