Job summary

Planet Fitness, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple club locations. The role requires hands-on work with fitness equipment and facility systems, punctuality, and a proactive approach to service levels.

The position involves traveling to locations nationwide, using a CMMS to manage work orders, and coordinating with regional management to keep sites up to standard. A valid license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with proof of insurance and clean driving record.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance work experience.
• Basic understanding of painting, carpentry, flooring, ceiling, electrical, plumbing, and AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use CMMS to track work orders and ensure SLA compliance.
• Repair and maintenance of fitness, tanning, hydro, and wellness equipment; perform related tasks.
• Purchase machine parts and project supplies as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility assets.
• Safely use company tools, vehicles, and technology.
• Maintain club facilities to required standards and report issues to management.
• Communicate issues to regional managers and assist with special projects.
• Travel and work at multiple club locations as required.
