Job summary

Capstone Management Partners, LLC. is seeking a Traveling Facilities Operations Manager to oversee community maintenance operations and ensure safety, compliance, and quality across multiple properties.

You will manage preventative maintenance, inspections, and project coordination while leading on-site teams. The role requires strong maintenance and property management experience, HVAC and EPA 608/CPO certifications, and willingness to travel up to 95% with on-call support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance industry and property management experience.
• Certifications: HVAC, EPA 608, and CPO.
• Formal training or experience in HVAC, carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing, and cleaning.
• Ability to understand and carry out industry-specific written and oral direction.
• Independently perform as a project leader and team member.
• Work efficiently with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with property management software: Entrata, Yardi, RealPage, MS Office, Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise on-site maintenance personnel and teams.
• Perform technical training for on-site staff.
• Coordinate maintenance objectives and inspections across properties.
• Ensure vendor credentialing and compliance with safety standards.
• Inspect communities and review maintenance operations for quality.
• Plan and prepare maintenance items and capital improvements for budgets.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and identify cost reductions.
• Provide weekly updates on maintenance issues across properties.
• Travel to various markets up to 95% and support travel schedule.
