Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef, Traveling Support to lead hands-on culinary operations across a portfolio of accounts. Reporting to the Regional VP, the role is deployed to locations undergoing transitions, openings, or challenges, delivering culinary excellence and strong team development.

The candidate will quickly assess operations, mentor staff, uphold food safety standards, and partner with operations to elevate guest experiences while traveling up to 85% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience leading culinary operations in high-volume contract dining.
• Proven track record as an Executive Chef or equivalent leader.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to travel up to 85% and manage multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive chef leadership across multiple accounts during transitions.
• Assess operations and implement solutions to improve food quality, consistency, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Champion culinary excellence with high standards for food quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Support new account openings, menu implementation, and team training.
• Partner with culinary and operations leaders to drive continuous improvement.
