Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required or willingness to obtain.

At TelCom Construction, as an Equipment Foreman, you'll oversee crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. You’ll also manage equipment and materials to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Travel is required.

What you’ll do as an Equipment Foreman

  • Lead crews to meet project timelines
  • Safely operate and control assigned equipment
  • Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
  • Oversee and help train crew members
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
  • Operate heavy equipment and machinery, perform maintenance
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Valid state driver's license (non-provisional) with an acceptable driving record
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
  • Pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card
  • High School Diploma, GED, relevant work experience, or a combination thereof (preferred)
  • At least three years of related experience
  • Previous Foreman experience (preferred)

Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: work alone in remote locations, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift over 55 pounds
  • Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
