Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced, travel-heavy role to oversee energy management on a complex construction program, including electrical, mechanical, chemical and thermal systems at project sites in Indianapolis, IN.

You will drive energization decisions, review permits, mentor teams, and ensure safety compliance with LOTO and NFPA 70E standards while coordinating with subcontractors and Turner leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of electrical trades experience or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of LOTO, NFPA codes, and NFPA 70E.
• Advanced knowledge of MEP systems.
• Ability to interpret complex one-line drawings.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, owner project requirements, drawings, specifications, system schematics, sequence of operations, MEP scopes of work and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee energy management work permits across electrical, mechanical, chemical, and thermal systems.
• Drive decisions impacting energization on the project.
• Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and support dispute resolution with Turner leadership and subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractor development and permit approvals prior to work.
• Establish LOTO training and ensure adherence on every project.
• Verify accurate single-line diagrams and commissioning readiness.
