Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned energy-management lead for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects such as Data Centers and EV/Battery markets. The role oversees electrical, mechanical, chemical, and thermal aspects on site across Indianapolis-area projects and beyond.

You will drive energization decisions, review permits, enforce LOTO procedures, and mentor site teams while coordinating with Turner leadership and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of applicable electrical trades experience or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of LOTO, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety practices
• Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and ability to interpret complex diagrams
• Ability to interpret contract documents, owner project requirements, drawings, specifications and schedules
• Strong communication and leadership to manage teams and drive safety culture

Responsibilities

• Oversee energy management work permits and coordinate with stakeholders for review
• Drive decision making for energization on project sites
• Lead root cause analyses for incidents and coordinate with subcontractors and Turner leadership for resolution
• Verify staff qualifications and adherence to LOTO and safety procedures
• Develop and conduct electrical safety training and ensure proper documentation and diagrams are up to date
• Mentor project teams and participate in hiring and performance processes
